Please Tell My Why

I don't understand why people lie about simple things. Now I'm not saying I'm a saint and I've never lied, but it's bewildering when people lie about stupidity. I guess I bring this up to say that when caught out there, I'm really left to question a person's character. Right now I find myself really striving to be honest with not only the people around me, but myself. Ironically I just told my dude that I'm trying to cut out any vices in my life. I told another that I'm trying to correct my wrongs as well. However as I find myself on this newfound path of enlightenment, I realize I have to cut out the fuckery around me...more importantly, the producers of the fuckery!!!
