RIP: Bernie Mac

Yesterday we legitimately lost one of the greatest comics of our time. Mac, in my personal opinion, was and still is, the funniest of the Kings of Comedy quartet. Despite how raunchy and vulgar his act was, there was a certain honesty and sincerity that resonated with us which ultimately helped him in crossing over to mainstream America. He was nothing short of brilliant. There are few shows that captured the black experience the way his did. I would argue that its the easily best we've had since the Cosby Show. Nothing was funnier than hearing his authoritative voice speak in that wild cadence, uttering "Look here America".

We have lost a great comedian, actor, and most importantly, a great father. RIP
